The village of Tanworth-in-Arden is well known in the area as a pretty, interesting and historical place.  Hillcrest is an 18th Century country cottage with leaded light windows and other original features. The Garage used to be a Blacksmith's forge. It is set in a large cottage garden, next to Coplow Wood, with lovely views over the Avon valley to Edgehills and the Cotswolds. It is on the route of the Shakespeares Avon Way Footpath. An ideal base for touring Shakespears Country and Historic Warwick. The family have run bed and breakfast here for nearly fifty years. The Dinning room where breakfast is served overlooks the garden. You will see many birds visit and the occassional deer. A traditional English breakfast is served but other diets can be catered for. Produce from the garden is used when available and homemade preserves from the fruit trees in the garden. All bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities, colour TV and central heating. Free Wi-Fi. There is a Log fire in the lounge in winter and seating on the Patio in summer for our guests to use. |
